Say nothing, do nothing, be nothing.

“To avoid criticism say nothing, do nothing, be nothing.”

Aristotle

Since our last post, so much happened that I don’t even know where to start..

In our last post we told that it was the last week of Sara in Portugal. We were expecting a calm week so we could deal with the process in our own way. However, things don’t always turn out as you like.

This project has travelled around the world, literally.  It took off in our own country and we reached our destination, Dubai. People all over Linkedin, Twitter and Facebook were sharing our project and motivating us, but then…

Then, our project reached the portuguese media,  P3 published our project on Monday and Tuesday we were waking up to the sound of the most heard radio station in Portugal talking about us.

I’ll not talk about what we’ve read in Facebook comments and even personal emails, I don’t think that those people deserve my time but it would be great that people could actually open an article and don’t stick for the title only.

Mea Culpa for using the term crowd fund. It was a mistake as this is actually a crowd source. Never in this blog, the word money has been written.  But if people actually read the articles they would know this, right? 😉

But every cloud as a silver lining and my contacts in Dubai increased a lot. We’ve received several direct contacts and endless encouraging an helpful messages. These people didn’t even knew us but they lost 5 minutes of their time to help us, guide us and not criticized. For these people:

Thank you for making the world a better place, for real.

Regarding news about Sara, she left Friday and is already rocking at the Emirates Academy! As for me, I’ll be there in the first two weeks of October to see her and for some face-to-face meetings!

It took a while to process that this project was shared almost 8K, so once again, thank you everyone for the support!

Speaking for both of us:

We’re truly sorry for the fact that we actually did something for us, for our relation and for our life-goals. Criticism will always show up by those who can’t understand this.

Cheers,

Rodrigo
